For our location in Doesburg, we are looking for a commercial and entrepreneurial colleague to join our Expo & Events team. In this versatile role, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding customer relationships, following up on commercial leads, and advising customers on logistical solutions for international trade fairs and events.

In addition to a strong commercial focus, you support the team with the operational coordination of transports, on‑site handling, and project logistics issues. This gives you the opportunity to develop into an all-round Expo & Events specialist within an international logistics environment.

You work in a small, close-knit team in which everyone takes responsibility for both commercial and operational activities. There is plenty of room for initiative, personal development, and growth opportunities within the international world of event logistics.

• Actively maintaining and further developing existing customer relationships within the Expo & Events market, whereby you support the full customer process from inquiry to invoicing and proactively follow up on leads to realize sustainable collaborations.
• Identifying commercial opportunities and generating new business within the Benelux market.
• Preparing, elaborating, and following up on quotations and tenders.
• Advising customers on logistical solutions, transport strategies, and customs aspects for international trade fairs and events.
• Collaborating intensively with operational colleagues to ensure optimal execution of assignments.
• Coordinating international transports, on‑site handling, and project logistics at exhibition venues worldwide.
• Maintaining contacts with agents, carriers, suppliers, and international Kuehne+Nagel offices.
• Contributing to the further growth and positioning of the Expo & Events department within the Benelux.

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics, commerce, or supply chain.
• A few years of experience in a similar commercial or logistical role is a plus.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• You get energy from customer contact, relationship management, and creating new business opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and result-oriented.
• Available for at least 32 hours per week.
