Requirements
What we're looking for
- You are willing to participate in a 24x7 shift schedule.
- You are an all-round security engineer with several years of experience in designing and implementing security solutions.
- You have experience with developing Ansible playbooks, using and adapting Terraform modules, and working with Git workflows. You apply that knowledge to build, configure, and implement solutions.
- You have a senior technical level, for example demonstrated by certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSC, Check Point CCSM Elite or Expert, F5-CSE, or Cisco CCIE Security.
- You have strong consultancy skills and think along regarding roadmap, planning, and design.

Hours per week: 32 - 40
Rate: max €104.00 incl. travel expenses and excl. VAT
The role
You will come to work in a team that designs, builds, and implements security solutions across a wide range of platforms. The team ensures that firewalls, load balancers, and mail security not only work well, but also grow alongside the needs of the organization.
The security environment must be available day and night. Therefore, the team works with a 24x7 shift schedule, in which you will also participate. Automation is a fixed part of the work: solutions are built and deployed as much as possible with Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
What you'll do
- Designing, building, configuring, and implementing security solutions.
- Developing Ansible playbooks, using and adapting Terraform modules, and working with Git workflows.
- Advising on technical choices, within the team and towards stakeholders.
- In addition, as lead engineer, you actively contribute to the roadmap, planning, and design. You are the technical leader of the team, bringing colleagues along and acting as an advisor.
