Architect

• Demonstrable experience as a Network Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies such as BGP, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, Firewalls, and Loadbalancers
• Experience with security concepts such as zero trust, firewalling, network segmentation, and secure access.
• A broad orientation: you have knowledge of VMware VCF, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, or you are willing to increase your knowledge level in these
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Affinity with and experience in automation (Ansible, NetBox, Terraform)
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience with vendor management and evaluating technical solutions.
• The ability to create support among both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• An open attitude towards an additional ABRO or ABDO screening

As an architect, you play a key role in modernizing IT environments for leading companies. You will work in an innovative environment where your ideas are valued and you are given the freedom to experiment and grow.

You will get a role with a lot of impact; together with your fellow architects, you will make architectural choices that determine how reliable, secure, and flexible our Private Cloud services are, now and in the future.

• You bridge the gap to the broader private cloud stack: including VMware VCF, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• You design and build robust, scalable, and secure data center networks for our private cloud environments
• You assist in developing the (network) architecture, principles, standards, and roadmaps
• You help your teammates with implementation and work hands-on with technologies such as BGP, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, Firewalls, and Loadbalancers
• You help us further build our automation foundation with Ansible, NetBox, and Terraform
• You translate complex customer issues into concrete, working solutions
• You actively share your knowledge with the team, thereby raising everyone to a higher level

We are looking for an experienced network consultant or architect with a strong technical foundation and a clear vision of modern connectivity. You know how to make complex issues clear and understandable and move effortlessly between strategy, architecture, and technology. For you, it does not stop at designing solutions; you also want to build them, test them, and successfully realize them together with your team. And perhaps even more importantly: you enjoy sharing your knowledge, because you know that strong results arise through collaboration.

You are curious, hands-on, and think in terms of possibilities and solutions. You get energy from innovation and enjoy being at the foundation of new developments, such as our automation journey. In addition, you possess:

• HBO or WO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of IT, Computer Science, Network Technology, or similar.
