The role

Are you a decisive, driven leader that our Incident Response and Recovery Team needs? If you are passionate about resolving complex Cyber Security incidents and guiding organizations through their ‘incident readiness’ strategy, then this is the perfect role for you!

In the role of Manager Incident Response and Recovery at KPMG, you play an essential role during crisis situations at leading organizations. You lead proactive and reactive Incident Response assignments. In doing so, you are the central hub between the client and your team.

What you'll do

  • With your team, you investigate digital forensic traces and analyze technical security measures following incidents.
  • You evaluate the security of critical systems, identify vulnerabilities in business processes, and support various recovery activities. In doing so, you make use of a wide range of technical tooling and driven (sr.) consultants and managers.
  • You advise the client regarding the cyber incident and coordinate the various workflows and stakeholders.
  • You measure the organization's resilience during cyber incidents (incident readiness) and advise the client on the practical and strategic next steps to increase resilience.

In this, you will often switch between different communication styles. One moment you are speaking with non-technical decision-makers about priorities and possible solutions, the next moment you are diving deeper into specific security settings with IT or security personnel.

Functie-eisen

  • Residing in the Netherlands and willingness to travel and work at various locations, sometimes also outside of office hours.
