The role
As Sales & Operations Manager, you are the first point of contact and the leader of the store managers in your region. You help them to make their stores a little bit better every day. You discuss results, challenge them to come up with improvement proposals themselves, and support the realization of those proposals. In doing so, you provide confidence and space, but you are also clear about expectations and agreements. You work closely with your CFT (Cross Functional Team) consisting of an HR Business Partner and a Store Specialist. Thus, from different disciplines, you work on the performance and development of the stores in your region. Together, you determine priorities, tackle issues that affect multiple stores, and ensure that plans are actually executed. A look into your workday 08:00 - A fresh look at the store
What you'll do
You start the day in one of your stores. Together with the Store Manager, you walk around and discuss the results, the staffing, and the points of attention. What is going well? What can be improved? And which actions will the Store Manager take on themselves.
10:30 - The figures tell a story
You review the performance of your region. You analyze turnover, yield, and customer and employee satisfaction. You see differences between stores and discuss with the relevant store managers what is needed to improve results.
13:00 - Together with your CFT
You discuss developments within the stores, align priorities, and look at where support is needed. Everyone contributes knowledge and ideas from their own expertise. Together, you ensure that stores progress. 15:30 - Time for development
You have a conversation with a store manager about their development. You discuss results, ambitions, and leadership. You give honest feedback and help someone to take the next step. It is precisely seeing people grow that gives you energy.
No day goes exactly according to plan. You switch easily between people, stores, and results while maintaining an overview.

Sometimes practice requires attention outside of usual working hours. A phone call with a store manager or a situation in a store that requires a decision. You understand what working in retail means and are there when it is needed.

We close the vacancy on Tuesday, November 10. We want to conduct the first interviews on Monday, November 16 and Thursday, November 19 in Veghel.
