To strengthen our technical expert team in Gorinchem, we are looking for a driven Project Engineer Instrumentation & Control

• You are responsible for the high-level design, configuration, and execution of projects to meet the set objectives.

• The projects involve building management systems with an emphasis on the automation of building-related HVAC installations.

• Determining the sequence of execution and network layouts.

• Technical coordination of the projects.

• Validation of complete system functionality and solving problems with subcontractors and others to ensure sound execution.

• Keeping the project manager and client informed of the technical/operational progress of the project, as well as providing input for project schedules.

• Directing and supervising subcontractors.

• Providing information to both software engineers, hardware engineers, and commissioning engineers.

• You are familiar with safety standards and act accordingly. Additionally, you oversee safe working practices for your colleagues and subcontractors.

• You may be involved in the preliminary calculation of a new project or sub-project or provide support during pre-engineering in the calculation stage.

• Selecting, ordering, and tracking the delivery of materials for assigned projects.

• In this role, you will work as a Project Engineer for ongoing projects at the instrumentation, integration, BMS, and ICT levels. From your position, you will technically direct subcontractors/suppliers (for example, panel building, cabling, suppliers). You hold a key role within the project team. Additionally, you will:

• Maintain an overview of any scope changes and report these to the project manager during the process.

• Actively participate in technical project meetings.

• Take responsibility for hardware and software engineering, commissioning, and technical handovers.

• Act as the spokesperson to the client regarding technology.

• Directing engineers and commissioning engineers (non-hierarchical).

• Being responsible for the quality and quality assurance of the project.

• Being technically responsible for the progress regarding engineering and commissioning in the planning.

• Being present at handovers such as FAT, SFAT, SAT, ISAT, TOAT, etc.

• Sharing responsibility for the final result of delivered products and services.

• Sharing responsibility for the implementation of standard working methods and solutions (together with the other PEs).

• You have a background in engineering, project management, or work preparation, or you wish to grow into these areas. You have a similar education in a related technical role with relevant work experience (MRK-C, KLI-C, a technical HBO education E/W or equivalent level of thinking).

• You are eager to learn, with a curiosity and interest in the latest market developments. You are willing to expand your knowledge through training.
