Do you want to play a key role as an HR Consultant at I-SEC, a global leader in security with a crucial role in ensuring safety at international airports? We are looking for an energetic HR professional with a hands-on mentality to strengthen our HR team!
At I-SEC, you don't just contribute to HR processes, but you become part of a team that sets the standards for security. The dynamics of our organization offer you the unique opportunity to work in a multicultural environment, where teamwork and collaboration are essential. Your role has a direct influence on safety at international airports and high-risk objects, through which you make a tangible contribution to a safer world.
As an HR Consultant, you are responsible for advising and supporting managers and various stakeholders in the implementation of HR policy, occupational health and safety legislation, labor law cases, and monitoring the content, quality, and progress of HR processes. You act as a clear problem-solver and actively advise on all aspects of the HR field, including employment conditions, performance management, (internal) recruitment, leadership, employee relations, and laws and regulations. Finally, you contribute to a good inflow and outflow of personnel so that a qualitatively and quantitatively optimal staffing level is present.
Tasks and responsibilities:
As an HR Consultant, you are involved with the people and the organization and are able to strike a good balance between them. You also hear and see where the short- and long-term needs of different departments lie. You act proactively on this and work together with stakeholders to make improvements. Additionally, you possess organizational sensitivity. By this, we mean that you not only take formal and hierarchical lines into account, but also have a good sense of the mutual relationships and behaviors of people. You understand that there are different opinions and interests. You know how to handle them when you need to get something done within an organization. Together with two fellow HR Consultants, you actively contribute to optimal cooperation and a safe working environment, including:
Supporting, guiding, and advising managers on policy, labor law matters, and the job-related tasks of employees.
Participating in consultations with the Health Services, operational management, People Leaders, HR Desk, and other managers.
Advising on performance and appraisal interviews, guiding these, and supervising the continuous development of employees.
Advising and consulting with the HR Business Partner and/or HR Manager regarding the entire HR process, identifying and reporting any bottlenecks, and making improvement proposals in this regard.
Guiding internal selection procedures, assessing assessments, and advising on employment conditions and individual salary grading.
First point of contact regarding legal HR processes. Think of official warnings, summary dismissal, suspensions, and legal communication with external parties.
Performing administrative tasks for the personnel file, such as (timely) meeting minutes, informing departments such as payroll and HR Desk, sanctioning, etc.
Advising and supporting Case Managers and managers in the implementation of the occupational health and sickness absence policy, sustainable employability, and identifying incorrect working conditions.
Participating in central HR projects focused on HR Consultancy.
A good salary and good secondary employment conditions;
24 vacation days and 13 ADV days based on full-time employment (40 hours);
Pension scheme, year-end bonus, and 8% holiday allowance in accordance with the PB collective labor agreement;
A job for 32 to 40 hours, working on Wednesdays is a plus;
Employee recognition program where you can save for nice gifts and experiences;
A challenging job with plenty of room for personal initiative;
A close-knit team where humor and hard work go hand in hand.
You have a completed education in HRM or a similar field;
You have a number of years of experience with HR advertising;
Familiar with Dutch labor law, WvP, WOR;
Knowledge of Afas is a plus;
Excellent communication skills in speech and writing.
