At BSO Vryheid in Rotterdam, you will go on a journey of discovery together with children. You spot opportunities, come up with ideas, and enjoy taking children along into the world around them. From baking bread together at the local bakery to doing groceries for a neighborhood resident or organizing an activity in the district: there is always something to experience at Vryheid.

Your workplace
Welcome to BSO Vryheid! From the school building of public primary school Nelson Mandela, the Afrikaanderwijk is your playground. And Rotterdam? It's just around the corner. You will head out together with the children. Baking bread at the bakery, doing groceries for a neighborhood resident, or coming up with a fun activity in the neighborhood yourself. You don't have to look far for adventure; sometimes it simply starts at the front door. And of course, not every afternoon has to be full of action. Back at the BSO, there is plenty of space to play, chat with friends, be creative, or just relax.

You work with children from 4 to 13 years old. Every child is different, and that is exactly what makes your work so enjoyable. You see what a child needs, provide space where they can, and offer support where it is necessary. This way, you help children to discover a little more of the world and of themselves. At Vryheid, you therefore do not only work at the BSO. You go out into the world together with the children.

Practical
You work on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:00 to 18:00. On Fridays, you work from 11:45 to 14:45. You are also available during school holidays. Including the hours during school holidays, a contract of a maximum of 16 hours per week is possible.
