Supervisor / Nurse Flexpool (Night)

As a night nurse/supervisor at GGZ inGeest, you always work together. You do this at one of our clinics. You play an important role within the treatment team. You offer direct support to our clients with daily activities such as personal care, meals, and social activities. Your heart, knowledge, and experience are urgently needed.

• For our clinics in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Haarlem, and Bennebroek, we are looking for Flexpoolers for the night.

• The client population consists of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds with acute psychiatric problems and severe psychiatric disorders, both adults and the elderly.

• Our ambition is to create a treatment climate in which the client (in crisis) feels safe and supported.

• The Flexpool is part of the Planning and Flex Bureau within the Clinics, IHT, and Crisis Service cluster and consists of an average of 50 flexpoolers and 7 planners.

• As a night nurse or supervisor, you monitor peace and safety and are therefore incredibly important to our clients.

• You signal changes on the psychological, somatic, and/or social level and report on these in our EHR.

• You signal and, where possible, prevent crisis situations and offer support during interventions.

• You ensure a complete handover to colleagues and are able to administer medication.

• You work together with other colleagues, particularly during the night. Together, you discuss who performs which tasks.

• You can book open shifts yourself via our system, and additionally, the Flex Bureau can approach you with an (ad hoc) request. Working in the flexpool is never boring and is incredibly educational, because you will work on various departments.

• As a Flexpooler, you can continuously develop yourself with our wide range of e-learnings and training sessions.

• You have at least an MBO 4 diploma in healthcare (or an equivalent diploma) or have acquired knowledge and skills at this level through work experience.

• You are available multiple nights per week, but at least 2 to 3 days per month.

• You are qualified to administer medication and possess a BHV certificate (Emergency Response) or are willing to obtain this as soon as possible.

• You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately.

• The position is scaled in FWG 40 cao GGZ.
