Permit Coordinator

Do you want to be dé driving force behind safe, predictable operations within a Gate terminal? As a Permit Coordinator, you fulfill an explicit coordination role between different departments: you ensure that work can take place safely alongside the operational activities within Gate. You are a crucial factor in the issuance of permits. You bundle permits and specifics even before shutdowns, bring structure where fragmentation occurs, and ensure that risks are visible before work is executed.

This position offers more than just permit coordination. In the context of the further growth and development of Gate, you are open to taking on additional responsibilities and actively contributing to improvement and change processes within the organization. Because of this, you not only play a key role in the daily operation, but also make a direct contribution to the future-proofing of Gate.

Predictability begins with preparation. You coordinate with the schedulers of Operations, Maintenance, and projects regarding what a shutdown requires, and ensure that this is arranged on time - so that work starts smoothly and downtime is kept to a minimum.

In addition, you are the connecting link between Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and other stakeholders. You actively build relationships with work preparation and schedulers, adopt a proactive, inviting attitude, and signal where collaboration can be improved. In this way, you contribute to one smoothly running operational chain, instead of separate departments working past one another.
