• You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• You have relevant experience within logistics and/or supply chain.
• You are analytically strong and know how to translate complex issues into concrete improvements.
• You are good at maintaining an overview, setting priorities, and switching gears quickly in a dynamic environment.
• You have experience with improvement projects;
• You are communicatively skilled, work easily with different disciplines, and have experience or an affinity for coaching and guiding colleagues.

Job Description

• We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who can be deployed broadly within the logistics field. You can maintain an overview in a dynamic environment and are continuously looking for improvements. You participate in strategic and operational projects and lead multidisciplinary improvement teams. Additionally, you provide support to planners and the business office.
• Your duties are a mix of operational and project-based logistical issues. Through various logistical projects, you contribute to a Logistics department that is prepared for the future.
• You work on optimizing, improving, and analyzing complex logistical issues of the Ingredients and Formula Plant;
• You are the point of contact for various disciplines within and outside Borculo;
• You represent the Logistics department during daily management control moments and in one of the operational improvement teams;
• You are responsible for setting up and executing (logistical) improvement projects according to the DMAIC structure;
• You report relevant logistical KPIs monthly to monitor the effectiveness of our processes and to adjust where necessary;
• You contribute to the realization of the short- and long-term logistical plan regarding safety, quality, sustainability, speed, and costs;
• You act as a sparring partner for planners and the business office;
• You participate in the consignment roster for our Formula Plant.

You are part of the Logistics department of FrieslandCampina Borculo. This department consists of the Logistics Manager, two Logistics Specialists, three Planners, four colleagues working in Shipping/Warehouse, and two colleagues in the business office.
