To expand our Operations team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior KYC Agent. In this role, you are responsible for checking and onboarding new merchants in the Netherlands. You ensure that every onboarding complies with legal requirements, Flatpay's internal compliance guidelines, and the requirements of our banking partners. Do you not yet have extensive experience within KYC? No problem. We are primarily looking for someone who is analytical, has an eye for detail, and is eager to learn.

Level: entry-level / junior

• Checking and assessing KYC files of new merchants.

• Verifying company data (KvK), UBOs, and corporate structures.

• Checking identity documents, bank details, and company documentation

• Ensuring files comply with internal compliance guidelines and the onboarding requirements of our banking partners.

• Identifying missing, incorrect, or contradictory information.

• Requesting and assessing additional documentation.

• Ensuring correct and consistent file construction.

• Intensive collaboration with Sales, Customer Support, and Operations.

• Investigating discrepancies between CRM systems, internal tools, and official registers.

• Thinking along about improvements to onboarding processes and work instructions.

• Contributing to the further growth of the KYC team in the Netherlands.

You are accurate, analytical, and enjoy solving problems. You work in a structured manner and get energy from assessing files. Even when you do not know everything yet, you are curious and learn quickly.

Additionally, you possess:

• At least mbo+ or hbo level of work and thinking.

• Strong administrative and analytical skills.

• An eye for detail and a high sense of responsibility.

• Good communication skills.

• Good command of both Dutch and English.

• Experience within KYC, Compliance, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), administration, financial services, or FinTech is a plus, but not a requirement.
