Junior Marketing Specialist

• Some experience in marketing (internship, side job, or first job)

What you will do:

Flatpay was founded in Copenhagen just four years ago, and since then we have become active in seven European markets, count more than 2,000 Flatpayers, and are among the European Fintech Unicorns. We have been live in the Netherlands since January and are still at the beginning of our growth here.

Our mission is clear: to make it easy for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to accept card payments, without the hassle. No unclear rates, no hidden costs, no surprises, but one fixed rate for all cards. With a transparent and customer-centric approach, we are redefining the standard for payment solutions and POS systems.

• You translate and localize advertising copy and marketing materials for the Dutch market, based on the tone-of-voice and messaging guidelines from our Content & Communication Specialist. In this way, you ensure that our local communication is not only correct, but also resonates with our target audience.

• Together with our Content & Communication Specialist, you write scripts and concepts for Meta ads, helping to turn marketing messages into engaging, high-performing creative assets.

• You feel comfortable appearing as the face and voice of Flatpay in front of the camera for social media and paid marketing content, helping to bring our brand to life.

• You support content and communication initiatives on social media, the website, via email, and other channels. Naturally, you will also contribute your own ideas.

• You contribute to the production and execution of video content for our marketing campaigns - from concept and script to filming and delivery.

• You create and edit short video content in CapCut, with support and creative guidance from our creatives.

• You work closely with our creatives to adapt, edit, and develop creative materials for paid social media campaigns.

• You work on performance and growth campaigns across multiple channels and gain practical experience in data-driven marketing.

• You support local brand and community activities, helping to make Flatpay visible throughout the Netherlands.

• You are responsible for daily community management and responding to comments and DMs on our social media channels. Where necessary, you support the monitoring of Google and Trustpilot reviews and pass on important signals.

• You work closely with internal stakeholders - particularly our central marketing team in Denmark and our Content & Communication Specialist - and gain insight into international marketing processes.
