Senior Auditor Subsidy Services

• You have a completed HBO or WO degree in the direction of Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, and several years of work experience in a similar role.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Analytical skills, ambition, and an inherent focus on delivering high-quality work.
• A proactive attitude, strong project management skills, and the desire to further develop yourself.

As a member of EY SAS, you will work together with our audit teams and get the opportunity to gain experience with diverse clients, various COS standards, a wide range of national and European subsidy schemes, and other specified purpose engagements. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to be involved in the audit of annual accounts.

Our team - Do great minds always think alike?

• Within subsidy audit, you will be part of various engagement teams and, if necessary, work together with other service lines within EY. These projects have a short turnaround time, during which you are involved from start to finish. Your tasks include a wide range of activities, including contributing to the audit strategy, auditing various cost items in subsidy accountability reports, and (co)preparing accountant reports, such as audit opinions, assurance reports, and reports of factual findings.
• In addition to assessing figures in the accountability reports, you will also deal with the underlying business processes and the "rules of the game" applicable from the subsidy provider or other stakeholders.
• Throughout your career, you will receive personal and professional guidance from an experienced colleague from practice to stimulate your development. As a Senior Staff, you will also have responsibilities such as directing and guiding colleagues, as well as planning and managing engagements.
• There are various opportunities for personal development, for example, in the areas of coaching, innovation, or quality improvement.
• We also encourage the possibility of pursuing further studies alongside your work to obtain an AA or RA title.
