On-call Chemical Analyst

• You are following an MBO education (level 3 or 4) in a laboratory field or have relevant laboratory experience.
• You are flexibly deployable and preferably available four days per week (Tuesday through Friday).

Do you want to gain work experience in a professional laboratory and contribute to the quality and safety of food and animal feed? As an on-call worker in our chemical laboratory in Heerenveen, you will support various analyses and laboratory activities. You will work flexibly, get to know various analytical techniques, and gain valuable practical experience within an international organization.

As an on-call worker, you support the team with daily activities in the chemical laboratory. You help with the preparation and processing of samples and perform various analyses, such as fat, moisture, and protein determinations (VVET). Additionally, you work with titrimetric techniques and ensure that results are accurately recorded.

You support colleagues where necessary and get the opportunity to get to know various workstations and analytical methods within the laboratory. This way, you build up experience step by step and discover how laboratory research contributes to the quality and safety of products in the food chain.
