Operating Room Assistant (On-call basis)

• A completed CZO-recognized education as an operating room assistant.

• A flexible on-call contract (0-hour), in which we schedule you in good consultation.

• Available shifts are shared at least 6 weeks in advance. Do you want to plan even further ahead? Then we would love to discuss the possibilities.

• A salary between €4,043 and €6,058 gross per month based on 40 hours (CAO ZKN).

• A scarcity allowance of 10% on top of your gross monthly salary.

• 8.3% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%

• Leave hours and PLB hours are not accrued, but paid out monthly.

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (up to 80 km one way) or full reimbursement of public transport.

As an Operating Room Assistant (On-call basis), you ensure that surgeries proceed safely, efficiently, and according to the highest quality standards. You are an indispensable link within the operating room team and guide the entire process surrounding the procedure. Thanks to your professional knowledge, preparation, and accuracy, clients can count on high-quality care and optimal treatment.

• You check the surgical schedule and ensure that all necessary materials, instruments, and client data are available.

• You prepare the operating room and medical equipment for use according to the applicable quality and safety requirements.

• You perform scrubbing, assisting, and circulating during orthopedic surgeries.

• You monitor sterile work processes and ensure a safe working environment for both the client and the treatment team.

• You register all relevant data carefully and completely in HiX.

• Good communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow operating room assistants.

• Flexibility to respond to changes in the surgical schedule.

• Availability for 9-hour shifts, without evening, night, or weekend shifts.
