Phlebotomy Assistant - Flexpool

• You have completed a healthcare education at a minimum of MBO level 3 (for example ‘Verzorgende IG, Nurse or Medical Assistant’), or you are currently following a relevant healthcare education;
• You have experience in and/or affinity with the healthcare sector;
• Venipuncture experience is a plus;
• You are available for an induction period of at least 4 weeks;
• You are available immediately or in the short term;
• You are available at least 2 days per week (Mon-Sat) from 07:30u to at least 13:30u or from 07:30u-16:00u;
• You have good communication skills;
• You have good oral and written command of the Dutch language;
• You enjoy working in a team.

Clinical Diagnostics SCAL is a laboratory specialized in clinical chemistry in the Netherlands. Together with Alrijne Zorggroep, as of July 1, 2024, in addition to medical microbiology, we also carry out the services in the field of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Transfusion for Zorggroep Alrijne. Combined with the services for primary care pathology, Clinical Diagnostics realizes an integrated and future-proof offering of diagnostics for primary and secondary care in the Leiden region.

As a blood collection worker, you will independently perform all actions related to blood collection (venipuncture). You will receive clients, perform the blood collection, and be responsible for the administrative processing. You will do this at various locations within Eurofins SCAL, including the collection points in the region.

Before you start working independently, you will first follow a training program where experienced colleagues teach you the ropes of the trade. After that, you will be closely supervised so that you eventually start working with confidence.
