Realizing challenging non-residential construction projects together with your team? That gives energy! As a General Construction Manager at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Den Bosch, you will work on large-scale and complex non-residential construction in the North Brabant and Limburg region. You ensure that these projects are delivered within schedule, budget, and at a high quality level.
You are the key link on the construction site: an inspiring leader for your team of site managers and skilled professionals. You maintain the overview, adjust where necessary, and create a safe and motivating working environment. Naturally, your extensive experience gives you a passion for construction, but above all, an eye for both technology and people.
Some projects you only encounter a few times in your career. As a General Construction Manager, you lead the realization of complex non-residential projects that change the cityscape and make a social impact. Think of a residential tower in an urban environment, an innovative school complex, a sustainable town hall, or a modern office building.
Together with the operations manager, you form the driving force behind the project. You oversee the whole, manage according to main objectives, and know exactly when to adjust course. You create a strong execution team, make smart choices in execution, and ensure that complex issues are converted into practical solutions. At Dura Vermeer, we prefer to recruit and select our candidates without the well-intentioned help of "subcontractors". Upon acquisition, we reserve the right to charge for additional work.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye on future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, non-residential construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the foundation for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of - iconic and close to home - and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employerhood and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more.
As Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Den Bosch, we are an independent operating company within a larger whole. An organization of 150 employees who would love to welcome you as a new colleague into the family! Together we realize area and real estate development, residential construction, non-residential construction, renovation, and transformation - from new construction to the improvement and renewal of existing real estate in the North Brabant and Limburg region.
As an employee of Dura Vermeer, you are part of a club of developers, builders, doers, and achievers. Sustainable collaboration is paramount: making plans together, sharing knowledge and successes together, and innovating together.
