Head Site Manager

• HBO professional and thinking level (preferably from a Civil Engineering education or similar)
• Minimum 8 years of work experience in the industry
• Extensive knowledge of various contract forms (Bouwteams, UAV-GC, RAW)
• Experience with integral projects in civil concrete construction and GWW with multidisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

Are you a result-oriented Head Site Manager with a passion for managing integral and multidisciplinary projects? At Strukton Civiel Nederland, you will get the opportunity to guide regional projects from preparation within a construction team through to completion, based from our Breda and Eindhoven locations. You are responsible for the overall flow of the execution process, with safety, quality, and planning as central priorities. You coordinate and monitor the planning and logistical processes with third parties and ensure a safe and well-maintained work location.

You will work on diverse projects such as:

• Eindhoven North West road structure, BIC ASML Underpass A58
• Area development Stationsgebied Zuid Eindhoven (Knoop XL)
• High-quality public transport (HOV) projects in the region
• Framework agreement for Variable Works (ROK VW) Rijkswaterstaat
• High-voltage projects for TenneT
• Small-scale construction teams for private clients and municipalities in the region

As Head Site Manager, you are not only the driving force behind the execution process, but also a mentor for younger site managers within the execution domain. You actively share your knowledge and experience, guide colleagues in their development, and stimulate a culture of learning and collaboration. In construction teams, you act as the expert who thinks along with the client regarding the optimal execution approach. You know how to identify and minimize risks in a timely manner, and you see opportunities that you know how to capitalize on for the project and the organization. In this way, you contribute to successful execution as well as to the growth of the team.

In addition, you are responsible for:

• Adhering to process steps within the execution process, focused on risks, timeliness, and quality.
• Implementing interventions and improvement measures and registering deviations.
• Proactively maintaining contacts with clients and subcontractors at operational and tactical levels to strengthen Strukton's position.
• Managing the execution team within the HR policies and creating optimal conditions for employees.
• Stimulating knowledge sharing and keeping up with trends and developments in the industry.
