Road Construction Site Manager - A2 Limburg

• MBO 4 or HBO level in the direction of earthworks, road construction, hydraulic engineering, or civil engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience as a site manager in earthworks, road construction, or hydraulic engineering within contracting.
• Knowledge of project schedules, contract agreements, progress statements, and safety regulations.

• A gross monthly salary of € 4,500 to € 7,000 (depending on knowledge and experience) based on full-time employment (40 hours).
• Good employment conditions according to the CAO Bouw & Infra for UTA employees (Technical Administrative Executive), including 20 vacation days and 10 non-working days, a monthly payment of 4.96% UTA days budget, and a 2.3% sustainable employability budget.

Directing execution and monitoring planning, quality, and safety for 3 to 4 projects with a value of a few million. Or for one large project with a budget up to 50 million. As a road construction site manager for Boskalis Nederland, you contribute to ensuring that the southern provinces remain accessible and in motion. You direct site managers and work planners. And you ensure that the interplay between all specialists in the field and the technology runs safely, according to a good schedule, and within budget. From the first shovel that goes into the ground to the last marking applied to the road surface, you are involved in projects. Or even earlier. Sometimes you are already thinking along during the tender phase about, for example, phasing, or you provide your input for designs.

Boskalis is widening the A2 motorway between the Het Vonderen and Kerensheide junctions on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat. This widening to 2x3 lanes plus a hard shoulder is necessary to improve the flow of the only north-south motorway connection in South/Central Limburg.

• Directing site managers, subcontractors, and work planners.
• Creating schedules, ensuring that the necessary materials and equipment are on time, and supervising that everyone adheres to the safety and health plans during execution.
• Depending on the type of project, coordinating activities and schedules with fellow site managers from other disciplines.
• Steering project progress, maintaining control over costs, and thinking along with project managers and clients about solutions if something changes in the execution or environment.
• Organizing quality controls.
