Do you love taking action, switching gears quickly, and working with customers who ask just a little bit more of you? Then you are in the right place in our Supply Chain Solutions department! You will work with a fixed customer portfolio and manage the most diverse cargo to destinations outside Europe. From special goods to complex international shipments, no two days are the same.

You take the lead, and that means a lot of coordination, calling, and emailing. You make contact easily with customers and colleagues, pick up the phone without hesitation, and ensure that matters are well arranged. You are a true doer who thinks ahead, spots opportunities, and does not wait for someone else to take action. Together with 9 experienced expeditors, you keep logistical processes sharp and continuously look at how things can be done smarter and more efficiently for the customer; you contribute to this.

How do you do this? As a senior expeditor, you take control of complex import and export files from A to Z. You monitor progress, solve bottlenecks, and take responsibility when it counts. In this way, you contribute to both satisfied customers and the growth of our SCS team. You achieve this by:

• taking control of complex shipments (avg. 83 per month), you manage the entire import and export process, monitor customer agreements, and coordinate directly where necessary;
• ensuring quality and compliance, you ensure correct forwarding and customs documentation and intervene when processes require it;
• staying ahead of problems, you signal risks, proactively tackle shortcomings, delays, and damages, and drive towards appropriate solutions;
• strengthening customers and partnerships, you build sustainable customer relationships, signal opportunities to improve supply chains, and coordinate with international branches and partners;
• maintaining control over communication, you ensure that colleagues, agents, and branches have access to the correct information in a timely manner (NL B2 and EN);
• working efficiently with logistical systems: you process shipments in CargoWise and/or Tango. Experience with these systems is a plus.
