Requirements
What we're looking for
You have at least an MBO diploma, preferably in a tourism or commercial direction;
You have at least 1 year of work experience in the travel industry, are familiar with booking travel, and can advise customers independently and handle bookings;
You listen well, ask follow-up questions, and know how to translate the customer's wishes into personal and suitable travel advice;
You are digitally skilled, quickly master new systems, and enjoy being in contact with customers via different channels;
You work accurately and maintain an overview, even when you are dealing with multiple customers, bookings, and questions at the same time;
You have commercial drive: you see opportunities, dare to take initiative, and ensure with your enthusiasm and service that customers love coming back to you;
Experience with the professional handling of complaints is a plus;
You are flexible and do not find it a problem to work on Saturdays and during shopping evenings.
The role
Planning a holiday is the best thing ever. Whether it is for yourself or for someone else: you love arranging a beautiful trip from A to Z. Through your knowledge and experience, our holidaymakers get to know the most beautiful places on earth! 🏝️
What you'll do
Customer-oriented working: whether it concerns questions about a booked trip, a last-minute deal, or customers who want your expertise, you treat them all with a result-oriented approach.
Giving advice: when a customer indicates they want to book with us, you know how to survey their wishes and unleash your creativity upon them. You compose a perfectly matching travel proposal for the customer;
Planning and organizing: you get to work for the customer and communicate continuously during this process with the customer and with our partners (think of airlines, hotels, and transfer companies);
You ensure a personal wrap-up with the customer and provide them with all the necessary information.
As a travel advisor, you are always ready for your customers - also on shopping evenings and Saturdays, so that they can always plan their next adventure without a care.
This is what we and you find important
Making your passion your work, being busy with travel every day! 🧡
Good employment conditions: 25 vacation days, travel expense allowance, and a pension scheme;
Knowing where you stand: fixed hours on contract;
We know that you love traveling: you receive a discount on all holidays and related products or services from D-reizen;
Every day is different: working with us is dynamic - no two days are the same, and you speak with new customers with diverse dreams every day;
Challenge! Together we work towards our individual and organizational goals. For the stores that win the internal challenge, a nice reward awaits;
Ownership: together with your team, you are responsible for the store, customer satisfaction, and turnover;
A positive atmosphere. In our "Make my D" compliment corner, we celebrate successes together;
A soft landing in which we take you extensively through our onboarding process using our online learning platform D-Academy;
Dedicated coaches who regularly provide inspiring workshops so that you get all the space to continue developing yourself. 🚀
