Business Controller Logistics

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and approximately 2 years of work experience in logistics;

• Know how to translate operational processes into financial insights and management information;

• Are business-minded and analytically strong: you understand the operations, love numbers, and dare to challenge the status quo;

• Have experience with PowerBI and MS Office;

• Are communicatively strong and persuasive: you get managers and stakeholders on board;

• Have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• A suitable salary (€ 3,390 to € 5,124 gross per month), 30 vacation days (based on full-time), 8% holiday allowance, a holiday bonus of € 550 gross, travel allowance, and a good pension scheme;

As a Business Controller, you are the financial sparring partner of the operational organization. You help managers maintain control over performance, costs, and productivity, and translate operational developments into financial impact.

You work closely with the operations within our logistics business - from planning and fleet to daily execution - and make a difference with clear analyses and management information. A role at the intersection of finance, operations, and business, with plenty of room to take initiative, improve, and grow.

• You analyze operational and financial performance and discuss these with management;

• You support decision-making by providing insight into revenue, costs, productivity, and KPIs;

• You coordinate the budget and forecast process and challenge stakeholders on performance and opportunities for improvement;

• You develop reports and dashboards that help to better manage the operations;

• You work closely with colleagues within Finance, Business Control, and Data & BI to further improve management information.

You are part of our Finance and Business Control team and work closely with the operational managers.
