HBO/WO Graduation Internship: Data Analysis Disruptions & Utility Services Optimization

As a Data Analysis Faults & Utility Services Optimization Intern, you will be part of the Utility Services department and will be responsible for analyzing fault reports and developing management information for improvements within the technical infrastructure.

You will investigate trends, recurring faults, and the underlying causes of disruptions. Based on your analyses, you will develop an action plan and KPI structure through which the performance of Utility Services can be monitored and improved.

Your duties are

• Analyzing historical fault reports and maintenance data of utility installations;
• Categorizing faults by cause, impact, frequency, and installation type;
• Performing Pareto analyses and Root Cause Analyses;
• Identifying recurring faults and opportunities for improvement;
• Drafting an improvement plan with concrete actions and priorities;
• Developing KPIs and dashboards for monitoring the performance and availability of utility installations;
• For this, you will work together with the management and operators of utility services and maintenance engineering;
• Investigating which method of fault reporting would be most efficient to achieve the above
