Engineer New Product Introduction

As a Simultaneous Engineer, you will work together with colleagues from, among others, Product Development, After Sales, and Purchasing in Simultaneous Engineering teams on the products of the future. At the same time, you will maintain close contact with your stakeholders in Truck Assembly, in order to properly translate the objectives of Truck Assembly into the product design. You will do this with a view toward increasingly efficient production processes.

• Collecting information to be able to determine requirements for product designs;
• Understanding the effects of concepts on our processes and preparing business cases to facilitate choices between these concepts;
• Good and timely stakeholder management;
• Using the Design-For-Six-Sigma method to implement a new product into a process correctly the first time, moving it to the next level of efficiency and effectiveness
• You foresee the impact of intended changes in product, process, or environment and validate the impact through early testing in a pre-series construction phase.
