Modern Workplace Engineer

• You have several years of experience within Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, system administration, or endpoint management;

• You have an MBO or HBO education in IT or possess a comparable level of professional and intellectual ability;

• You have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune;

• You have experience with Windows environments and endpoint management;

• You have an affinity with security and know how to keep a modern workplace secure and manageable;

• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, software deployment, or automation is a plus;

• You speak and write well in Dutch and English;

• You are service-oriented and a strong communicator, but you find implementing structural technical improvements at least as interesting;

• You work in a structured manner, think in solutions, and have an eye for quality and safety.

• You are able to work independently on important topics but are also able to operate in a team

• A salary between €4,000 and €5,200 gross per month;

As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you ensure that our colleagues worldwide can work safely, efficiently, and without issues. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for our modern Microsoft working environment and deal with, among other things, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and security.

From our head office in Harmelen, you support the organization in the Netherlands and our branches in Germany, the United States, and New Zealand. In doing so, you are not only involved in daily management. You continuously look at how we can set up our digital workplace smarter, safer, and better.

You will be given plenty of room to identify and realize improvements yourself. One day you are optimizing our Intune environment or security policies, the next day you are working on Microsoft 365, device management, software deployment, or a technical issue for a colleague.

• You manage and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Universal Print, Defender, and Teams Calling;

• You manage Microsoft Intune and ensure a secure and well-configured environment for laptops, mobile devices, and other endpoints;

• You work on endpoint security, compliance policies, conditional access, and security policies;

• You develop, manage, and distribute software packages and ensure that applications and systems remain up-to-date;

• You actively think about further standardization and automation of our Modern Workplace;

• You analyze and solve more complex IT issues and support colleagues where necessary;

• You ensure that new colleagues have a well-configured and secure digital workplace from their first day of work;

• You contribute to our information security and support the maintenance of our ISO 27001 certification;

• You identify opportunities to improve our IT environment and are given the space to actually implement these improvements.
