At CowManager, we are building smart agritech solutions that make the lives of dairy farmers worldwide easier. Our IoT sensors continuously collect data on the behavior, health, and fertility of cows. These data streams are processed in real-time in Azure and unlocked via modern applications so that farmers can make better decisions.
We are looking for a .NET Backend Developer who wants to work on scalable cloud solutions in a modern .NET environment.
As a .NET Backend Developer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team on backend services that process, store, and make sensor data available to our customers worldwide. You will build and improve microservices, contribute ideas regarding architecture, and contribute to the quality of our codebase.
• Developing and maintaining backend services in .NET
• Working on microservices and serverless components in Azure
• Writing well-structured code including unit and integration tests
• Contributing ideas regarding architecture, scalability, and performance
• Participating in bi-weekly sprints, including refinement, planning, and review
• Working closely with product owners, R&D, and data teams
On a daily basis, you will work with, among others:
C#, ASP.NET /.NET 6+, Entity Framework Core, MS SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), Bicep, Docker, Git
More detail about our stack, approach, and architecture can be found at: https://werkenmet.net/vacatures/back-end-developer/1473 or view our company profile here: https://werkenmet.net/bedrijven/6409
Our hardware sensors continuously push large amounts of data to the cloud. This requires scalable, robust backend solutions. You will work on distributed systems, microservices, and serverless components and continuously apply new techniques.
The focus is on new development, supplemented by expansions to the existing platform. The ratio is approximately 60 percent new development and 40 percent bug fixing and tech debt.
You will work on products that have an impact on farmers worldwide every single day. No abstract code, but visible results: better animal health, sustainability, and more efficient business operations.
We encourage autonomy and innovation. We regularly evaluate new techniques, organize knowledge sessions, and continuously improve our cloud architecture.
