What will my work as a Junior Assistant Accountant look like?

As a Junior Assistant Accountant, you will support entrepreneurs with their financial administration and learn the accountancy profession in practice, step by step. Together with experienced colleagues, you will work on annual accounts, tax returns, and reports for clients within the agricultural sector and SMEs.

You will have a fixed point of contact within the team and plenty of room to develop yourself. From the basics, you will further expand your knowledge and responsibilities, so that you can eventually handle tasks independently and support entrepreneurs with valuable insights.

You will work primarily for agricultural entrepreneurs and SME companies. From our strong position within the agricultural sector, you will support clients with various financial issues and contribute to reliable figures and clear insights.

Within our agro-team, you will learn how financial data is translated into practical advice, so that entrepreneurs can better manage the future of their business.

When is the position of Junior Assistant Accountant right for me?

You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and have an interest in entrepreneurs and their businesses. Additionally, you are open to new knowledge and want to further develop yourself, both professionally and personally.

You recognize yourself in:

• A higher professional education (HBO) degree in Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Agribusiness, or similar, completed or in progress;

• Availability of at least 24 hours per week;

• A structured way of working and an eye for detail;

• A social, involved, and proactive attitude;

• Interest in the agricultural sector or the motivation to get to know this sector.
