The role
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for a product that helps your users move forward. In a multidisciplinary scrum team, you work intensively with Analysts, Developers, Customer Journey Specialists, and other Product Owners. Together, you work on ideas to improve your product. You prioritize these ideas and, together with your development team, break them down into manageable pieces to deliver maximum value to the customer. At the same time, you present your vision and the roadmap for the coming quarters at executive level.
What do you do as a Product Owner at Coolblue?
There are multiple vacancies open and together we will determine which domain suits you best. As one of the +-40 Product Owners, you will focus on a part of the customer journey, a data product, tooling for colleagues, and/or our infrastructure.
Want to become a Product Owner at Coolblue too? Read below to see if it suits you.
What you will enjoy doing
- Developing and following a vision to realize a valuable product with your team.
- Creating and executing a prioritized roadmap.
- Inspiring your development team and brainstorming about the value of epics and user stories.
- Stakeholder management: How do you achieve the best result within your domain?
- Validating assumptions in a fast-paced manner
- Making impactful choices by determining what we must do now and what can wait until later.
- Assessing the value of wishes by determining which requests are truly important.
Vacatureomschrijving
- A starting salary between €4000 and €4700 gross, depending on your experience and the recruitment process. We work with an introductory scale for candidates who still need to grow into the role, and a follow-up scale for those who already meet most expectations.
- With more than 30 training courses in our own Studiefabriek, you can get a little better every day.
- Travel allowance, pension scheme, and "where-you-work" money.
- 25 vacation days. If you promise to come back.
- Discount on all the products we sell.
- An unbeatably good working atmosphere. With colleagues who make you happy, epic parties, pub quizzes and other team activities.
- Collaborating in an international environment with colleagues from, among others, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, and Italy.
- Room for new initiatives and ideas. We are always open to those. Whether you work with us for a week, a month, or a year.
- An office you'll want to take photos of, in a top location. From the Central station, it's three falls before you arrive. Okay, it's a few minutes' walk. Both in Rotterdam and in Utrecht.
- At the moment, we work hybrid: that means a combination of working at the office and working from home. Of course, we ensure you have a top workspace at home. Including an office chair, laptop, and blue streamers.
Functie-eisen
With us, you get the chance to combine the roles of Product Owner and Product Manager. Together with development teams and stakeholders, you improve both the customer journey and internal tools. You establish the product vision and roadmap and inspire your colleagues to achieve concrete goals.
