HSE Officer (Refurbished & Repairs)

What do you do as a Health, Safety & Environment Officer at Coolblue?

You regularly visit our depots, especially in Utrecht and Rotterdam, where you conduct safety rounds at Refurbished and Repairs. During these rounds, you engage in conversations on-site with team leaders and depot managers. You support the HSE Specialist with safety projects, both on-site and from home. You also handle depot-specific checks, contribute ideas regarding healthy working conditions, and join projects concerning inspections of, for example, tools. And you are responsible for the Risk Inventory & Evaluation for Refurbished and Repairs. In doing so, you work closely with the other HSE Officer, the HSE Specialist, your Team Lead, and the installation manager. This ensures that all Coolblue employees can work safely and that Coolblue adheres to all safety agreements.

• Visiting depots in the Netherlands, especially in Rotterdam and Utrecht.

• Discussing HSE topics with team leaders and depot managers.

• Coordinating projects with the HSE Specialist.

• Supporting safety projects, on-site or from home.

• Performing depot-specific checks for new and ongoing projects.

• Collaborating with other HSE Specialists in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

• Analyzing safety questions and converting them into clear solutions.

• An MBO education in Intermediate Safety Science or an HBO education in Higher Safety Science or Integral Safety Science; a diploma is (not yet) required.

• A driver's license (B).

• Good in Dutch and English, speaking and writing.

• Preferably an electrotechnical background.

As a Health, Safety & Environment Officer, you make our Refurbished and Repair locations safer. You travel extensively, speak with team leaders and depot managers about HSE topics, and develop improvement projects with other HSE Specialists.
