Commercial Product Manager

On a daily basis, you work on determining the right pricing strategy and optimizing the product assortment within one of our Commercial Teams. You contribute ideas to improving the offering for the customer, for example through better cross-sell choices. You work in a multidisciplinary team of approximately 6 to 10 Coolblues, collaborating closely with the Product Journey Manager and the Buyer. Outside of your own team, you often consult with colleagues from Marketing. Together, you improve channel performance, such as bid management and online visibility.

• Together with your Lead, you establish commercial goals and action periods, and monitor whether these are achieved.
• You ensure a smart pricing strategy that aligns with our commercial goals.
• You review the figures in dashboards daily and tackle disappointing results, in both the short and long term.
• Together with the Product Journey Manager, you assemble the assortment and ensure that it is logical, attractive, and profitable.
• You choose which products work well as cross-sells in order to achieve extra margin per order.
• You improve our bid management by analyzing traffic and competitors, so that performance in NL and BE improves.

• A completed higher education degree in the direction of Commerce or Marketing.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Affinity with gaming
• You have a flawless command of the Dutch language.
• Good with numbers. You know how to translate data into concrete insights and action points. 
• You recognize sales opportunities like no other because you are strategic and commercial.
• Ambitious in setting objectives and taking the responsibility to realize them.
• Empathizing with customers to discover their (product) needs.

As a Commercial Product Manager, you are responsible for the pricing and assortment strategy of the product category of your product category on the Coolblue website. You are occupied with increasing market share, optimizing product margin, and increasing the number of sales and online conversion.
