You speak and write fluent Dutch. English is important because we also work with English-language tooling and documentation.
Important: Dutch is a hard requirement for this role.
At Freeday, we build digital employees that take over boring, repetitive work. So that people have more time for work that truly matters. With AI, we help organizations make processes smarter, connect systems, and create space for growth.
We are looking for an Implementation Lead to take our digital employees live at client sites. Tightly organized, energetic, and with an eye for what is needed in practice. You are close to the operation, because that is where you make the difference.
You are the director of the implementation at the client. You ensure that everyone knows what needs to happen when, and that it actually happens. You work together with the client and with your colleagues at Freeday to set up a smooth trajectory from kick-off to go-live.
You take ownership from A to Z
You dive into the client's processes and quickly understand how things look in practice. With a sharp eye, you determine together with the client what "good" means: when are we satisfied, what is the desired outcome, and how do we measure that. You then translate that into a clear approach: what can and must we get out of our products to deliver that outcome. You bring the right people together, monitor scope, quality, and deadlines, and speak up if agreements are being neglected.
You create an ambitious plan with clear milestones and a concrete delivery moment. You consciously choose impact and results, and make clear agreements about what does and does not fall within scope. You stand for "good": you check if the solution does what it is supposed to do, test yourself where necessary, and ensure that the trajectory is truly ready for go-live. You maintain an overview of dependencies, risks, and progress, keep the tempo in the team, and dare to park "nice-to-haves" if they do not improve the end result.
You switch easily between operations, management, and IT. You make complex things understandable and keep communication clear and calm. You do not see resistance as a hassle, but as something you can turn into trust and enthusiasm. You turn an implementation into a trajectory that everyone looks back on saying: this was well organized.
You love it when clients are happy because something finally truly works. You get energy from hitting milestones, bringing structure to chaos, and understanding exactly what the real problem is and then solving it. You want to build something new and you think it's cool to explain later: look, this is what we achieved together.
Affinity with modern technology such as RPA, conversational automation, machine learning, and AI. Experience with Agile working is nice. Knowledge of Google Cloud is a plus, but not a hard requirement.
You have approximately 2 to 3 years of experience in a project-based role.
Think of Implementation Manager, (junior) Product Owner, Project Manager, or a customer-oriented operations role.
You are strong in planning and prioritizing, communicate clearly, and make complex processes simple.
You are customer-oriented, positive, and solution-oriented. And when it gets busy, you are the one who maintains an overview.
