Junior Cyber Security XDR Engineer

• A HBO or WO level of work and thinking, but above all a security mindset.
• A strong foundation in IT: General knowledge of networks and experience with Linux and/or Windows.

Your opportunities as a Junior Cybersecurity (XDR) Engineer at Capgemini

As a Cybersecurity XDR Engineer, you protect the challenging environments of our clients and provide advice on Cybersecurity-related topics. You do this using the latest technologies in an international team for clients worldwide. Additionally, you ensure that our tooling continues to run optimally and that its configuration fits the client's environment perfectly.

Within Capgemini, we are an expertise center in the field of XDR services. From our Center of Excellence, we do not only deliver services, but we continuously develop them, ensuring new innovative solutions and also acting as a knowledge center for related teams worldwide.

With our tooling, we monitor the complete environments of our clients, such as network-related data flows, system vulnerabilities and their patching, etc. You report on this to the client and provide advice on our findings. When an incident is detected, we investigate: is it a false positive? Or could it be an attack? You are directly involved in this investigation.

• You deliver our services to internal and external clients worldwide, as part of a diverse international team
• You investigate security events and analyze the threat level
• You provide security advice and contribute to optimizing the service delivery
• You contribute to the continuous development of our extensive services portfolio
• You take responsibility for the client's environment, ensure that the tooling continues to run optimally, and keep the environment secure.
• You form a primary contact point for our clients and advise clients on how they can best handle the findings from our reports.
