Working Student Transaction Management

Transaction Management is the seismic core of Bouwinvest: this is where the supply and demand of real estate come together during purchase, sale, and development.

As a working student, you do not just watch from the sidelines. You participate in transactions that have a direct impact on our real estate portfolio and work together with professionals from various disciplines.

At the same time, you will be given space to think along about the efficiency of Transaction Management. How can we work smarter? Which tasks can we automate? And how can AI, data, and Power BI help with that?

We have two positions available. Because of this, this is not only an interesting side job, but above all an opportunity to gain relevant experience, distinguish yourself, and build a network for a further career in real estate, transactions, data, or digitalization.

As a Working Student Transaction Management, you will support our Process Coordinators in the purchase, sale, and development of real estate. You will participate in real transactions and thus get a close-up view of everything that is required before a real estate deal can be finalized.

You will support file management, document control, and transaction documentation. You will also work with data rooms and assist with compliance and reporting. Working accurately is important: in a real estate transaction, documents, data, and agreements simply must be correct.

But we are explicitly looking for more than someone who only handles executive tasks. We are curious about your ideas. Do you see opportunities to design a process more intelligently, automate tasks, or use data better? Then you will be given the space to get to work on that.

That is precisely why we are looking for students who have an interest in AI, Excel, Power BI, data analysis, and process optimization. You do not need to be an expert in these yet. Curiosity, analytical ability, and the drive to find out how something can be improved are at least as important to us.

While processing transaction documentation, you notice that certain checks are always performed manually and take a lot of time. You think this could be done more intelligently with Excel, Power BI, or AI. What do you do?

You discuss your idea with a Process Coordinator and investigate where the most time is being lost. Subsequently, you look at how you can make the process simpler or smarter and work out an initial solution.

You will be given the space to experiment and colleagues will think along with you. In this way, you not only support an ongoing transaction, but you also help Transaction Management to work more intelligently on a structural level.

• You are in your third year or further in a higher professional or university education, for example in Real Estate, Brokerage, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.

• You are available for at least two consecutive days per week.

• You work accurately, structured, and analytically.

• You are proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office.

• You have an above-average interest in AI, Power BI, data analysis, and process optimization.

• You are entrepreneurial, enjoy thinking along about how things can be done smarter, and also bring some humor.

• Affinity with real estate and real estate transactions is a plus.
