The role

For our Eindhoven office, we are looking for a facilities employee for an average of 16 hours per week, to start immediately.

What are you going to do?

What you'll do

As a Facilities employee, you are responsible for the supply of our (mobile) breast cancer screening locations in the provinces of Noord-Brabant and Limburg. Together with your colleagues, you are the ears and the face of our organization. You are the first point of contact for our colleagues regarding operational tasks and enjoy playing a connecting role.

The breast cancer population screening is carried out by our colleagues from the Operations department in mobile, fixed and training units. In your role, you will have frequent contact with our colleagues at these screening locations and with your colleagues at our offices.

In this varied role, no two days are the same, and that is exactly what appeals to you. You provide facilities (and partly administrative) support. You enjoy playing a supporting role in which you switch between a variety of tasks and many different colleagues. You see what needs to be done, and without anyone having to tell you, you have already picked up the work. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are service-oriented, committed and a true team player.

Our core values involved, reliable, and reachable are reflected in our internal organization and the relationship with the outside world. They provide us with direction to constantly improve our work and our organization. #Togetherformillions.

Your duties

  • You manage TOPdesk reports and supplies;

  • You plan the optimal routes based on the current locations;

  • You check the orders for our screening locations. It is important to know that with every order, boxes of drinking water are delivered, which requires physical effort;

  • You drive to our screening locations two days a week and deliver the supplies;

  • You are responsible for a professional appearance and ensuring the timely maintenance of the company vehicle;

  • You provide simple handyman services (small repairs) at the office and the screening locations;

  • You ensure that the office and the screening locations serve as the calling card of our organization;

  • As an employee, you are responsible for the condition of the offices and the screening locations by proactively identifying and reporting any irregularities.

Good to know

Your working days will be Tuesday and Thursday. On these days, you will drive with our company car from the Eindhoven office to the (mobile) screening locations on 1 of the 2 routes for supplying and providing simple handyman services. A logistics role in which you are on the road a lot is exactly what you enjoy!

Who are you

  • You possess a driving license B, have experience using a navigation system, and enjoy traveling to our locations independently;

  • You communicate clearly in Dutch, both orally and in writing (Dutch is the working language within our organization);

  • You are familiar with and willing to work according to procedures;

  • You preferably have experience with facilities management and information systems, such as Topdesk;

  • You possess an independent and flexible attitude and can work well with colleagues in a team;

  • You are accurate and value a neat and orderly working environment;

  • You can switch tasks quickly and take initiative;

  • You have a service-oriented and welcoming attitude and enjoy relieving others of their burdens;

  • You take the interests of both the employees and the organization into account;

  • You are able and enjoy performing simple (technical) tasks independently at our locations. Think, for example, of replacing a lamp or a window seal, adjusting a door, and cleaning coffee machines;

  • You have at least a completed MBO-2 education;

What we offer you

  • Meaningful work! A challenging position in a learning organization that is fully in development and where you contribute to the early detection of cancer;

  • A versatile position in an open and informal organization with an important social objective;

  • An employment contract initially for 1 year for 16 hours per week;  A salary in accordance with CAO Ziekenhuizen FWG 25 (€ 2,630 - € 3,382 based on 36 hours), depending on your education and experience;

  • Good secondary employment conditions according to the Cao Ziekenhuizen, including an end-of-year bonus of 8.33% and a holiday allowance of 8.33%;

  • Pension accrual at PFZW and disability insurance at Loyalis;

  • A vitality budget to promote sustainable employability of € 216 net per year;

  • A travel allowance for commuting, regardless of the distance;

  • To encourage traveling by public transport, we provide an NS Business Card;

  • Various collective discounts on your health insurance and other insurances.

Who are we?

Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland in its current form has existed since January 2022. The new (national) organization arose from a merger of five regional organizations. Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland is responsible for the implementation of three population screenings in the Netherlands: we screen various population groups for cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer. More than 4.5 million people are invited annually for one or more of these population screenings. At our organization, 950 colleagues work toward the same goal: contributing to the early detection of cancer. Early detection helps! It increases the chance of successful treatment and often a less invasive treatment is required. We are proud of our work and our social contribution.
