Do you have a sharp analytical mind and do you want to learn how to (re)design complex organizations and thereby strengthen them? At Berenschot, we are looking for a junior consultant who wants to understand the 'hard' foundations of organizations. In the transformation of organizations, you focus on the business side of organizations: how do you translate strategy into a robust and effective organizational model? Are you analytically strong and do you want to master the profession of organizational design to perfection? Then this is your chance to make a flying start!

As a junior consultant, you support complex organizational design projects. You will learn to advise boards and management teams on organizational design and governance issues, supported by data analysis and proven methodologies. Your duties include, among others:

• analyzing and mapping existing organizational structures and processes (operating model).

• supporting the design of new governance and management models.

• collecting and processing data for (quantitative) organizational analyses, for example in the field of effectiveness, efficiency, and span of control

• facilitating work sessions on organizational structures and processes.

• developing organizational designs that align with strategic objectives.

• supporting the implementation of change processes.

Berenschot is an independent Dutch organizational consultancy firm in Utrecht, where more than 500 driven colleagues work on sustainable solutions for the challenges of our clients. You will become part of the Organization Design team within the Organizational Transformation advisory group. The team has a clear vision on organizational design and combines scientific insights with practical experience.

We are actively involved in international networks, such as the European Organisation Design Forum (EODF), and are at the forefront of organizational design. As a junior consultant, you play an important role in the further development of the team, both substantively and commercially.

You are a driven advisor with:

• a completed MSc, for example in business administration, public administration, organizational sciences, or economics

• one to three years of relevant work experience in organizational consultancy or a (internal) strategic advisory role within a large organization

• demonstrable expertise in designing organizational models and solving governance issues

• substantive knowledge of the hard side of organizational design (operating model)

• experience in translating strategic goals into a concrete organizational structure

• strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with the ability to make complex issues understandable

• entrepreneurship and the ambition to contribute to the further growth of our team.
