• HBO working and thinking level, with an education in the direction of Installation Technology (HVAC) or Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Building-related Installations);

•  At least 5 years of experience as a Project Advisor Installation Technology (or similar) at a construction company or a structural engineering firm;

• A fresh perspective and a practical attitude;

• You have demonstrable knowledge of NEN standards, Building Decree, and the cost structure of installations;

• You are sharp in your analysis, strong in your communication, and focused on a smart, feasible approach;

• At least 32 hours per week to work. Are you available full-time? That is also fine!

As a Project Advisor Installation Technology | Building-related Installations (HVAC/W) at Ballast Nedam West in Capelle aan den IJssel, you are the primary point of contact for everything related to installations within our leading construction projects. You are involved from tender and design development through to execution, and you have an important voice in installation consultations with clients and intended installers. You work intensively with the design developer, estimator, purchaser, and project manager within our organization.

You stay up-to-date with the market by actively engaging in dialogue with installers, so that you can arrive at the best solutions. With your knowledge and approach, you are a valued sparring partner for everyone in and around the construction project. During execution, you monitor whether the installations are being applied correctly and discuss this with the project team.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Drafting the Program of Requirements and Technical Description.

• Creating a cost estimate depending on the project phase.

• Coordinating with the client regarding installations, together with the design developer.

• Supervising the quality and correctness of requested quotes via estimation, and implementing adjustments where necessary.

• Conducting discussions with installers together with Purchasing.

• Checking execution drawings at the request of work preparers.

• Acting as a point of contact for work preparers, design developers, site managers, and project managers.

• Supervising the quantity and quality of documents for, for example, tender projects.

• Supporting installation technology aftercare.
