From the DO phase, you will join Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling in Hoorn as a Planning Preparer, acting as the linchpin in tender and construction team projects during the design phase and knowing how to make the translation from design to engineering. By searching for good and applicable ideas, you make plans feasible and constructible. You work together with various teams to prepare design and construction plans and to assess projects for financial feasibility. You also ensure the input of expertise in the areas of costs, construction methodology, sustainability, planning, and logistics, and you perform risk analyses during the various phases of the plan development process. You continuously strive for optimization: Is this the most sustainable and efficient approach, or are there still untapped opportunities we can seize?
You gather this information from various internal colleagues, including the plan developer, estimator, senior works preparer, and project leader, as well as from external advisors, architectural firms, structural engineers, and installers. You ensure the coordination of the data you have obtained and assess this for financial feasibility. You are driven in communication at various levels and are a pleasant conversational partner. You can work both strategically and tactically to achieve your goals.
Of course, you do not do this alone; as a planning preparer, you are part of our Office, which consists of enthusiastic, helpful colleagues with a healthy dose of humor. There is also plenty of room to brainstorm, as there are no fewer than six fellow planning preparers you can turn to.
