As an intern within the Veg, Chicken, Fish, Meat and deli sourcing team, you will get to know the most fun and delicious product categories at Albert Heijn. We ensure that our customers are made happy every day by our products and are surprised time and again by new assortment. Your new job and workplace
As the Veg, Chicken, Fish and Meat table, we are responsible for the plant-based or animal component of the evening meal for more than seven million people per day. Within our team, you will participate fully and dive into all facets within Albert Heijn sourcing. As an intern within our team, you will see what is required to provide so many people with a delicious meal and what role you can play in that.

Within this team, as an intern, you will primarily collaborate with the Chicken & Fish buyer. You can think of preparing for and participating in relevant supplier meetings. Developing and exploring the various chains and visiting (new) suppliers. Additionally, you will join team meetings and participate in the various inspections in which we develop assortment.

BBQ and Christmas are important moments for our category and as an intern, alongside your general duties, you will work together with the team to make them as successful as possible.

In this position, you work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Zaandam and partly from home.
