The role

Are you crazy about everything fresh and healthy? As a communications intern in the Vegetable team, you will work on everything within the category: from fresh broccoli to sliced carrots. You are the link between stores, suppliers, and office colleagues, ensuring that communication runs as smoothly as a well-stocked vegetable department. Sounds good? Read on quickly!

Your new job and workplace.
As an Intern, you provide a direct contribution to the team's activities. You do this not alone, but together with your colleagues from the AGF team. You support the team in product and design development processes for Vegetables and Fruit > when a new product enters the market, it also includes packaging and design, and the intern is responsible for that. Additionally, the intern is responsible for answering customer questions and contacting colleagues in the store, where you will work on:

During this challenging and active internship, you can get a taste of the different sides of Category Management, with an emphasis on communication. You will not only learn about the dynamics within a category and the tasks associated with category management. You will also be independently responsible for all internal and external communication, liaising with various internal departments and external suppliers. Internal communication is about inspiring and informing our colleagues in the store, for example about new assortments, via social media and our internal tools.

External communication is about communicating with our customers, such as answering questions. The activation of new assortments, both in-store and online, also belongs to your set of tasks. Furthermore, you are responsible for the design process of vegetables and fruit, which means you think along and help with the packaging of new products and their design. In short, it is your task to ensure that communication runs smoothly. Additionally, there are many different projects in the fields of sustainability, product quality, and shelf layout, so we can certainly use your help there too.
