UX Designer/Service Designer

The Chamber of Commerce (KVK) is implementing a digitalization strategy in which the delivery of information products to the market is central. The ability to quickly develop new (and where necessary, custom) products is a prerequisite. Therefore, it is necessary to implement changes in the ICT landscape. These changes are implemented under architecture. Within the Handelsregister Omnichannel Platform (HOP) project, work is being done on the "digital workplace" (DWP) platform. The DWP makes functionality from various source systems available in an integrated manner for all KVK employees so that it is experienced by users as a single whole.
The HOP scrum team is looking for a Senior UX expert/Service Designer. The team works in an agile release train with 2-week sprints. The goal of this scrum team is to build and maintain DWP functionality. With the HOP team as a base, you will also work for various other projects (+/- 6) that are also working on integrating functionality into the digital workplace.

As a senior UX Designer, you design the experience for users of the digital workplace across various projects. You monitor the overall consistency of the user experience. You work together with front-end developers on the design system to guarantee consistency and reuse. You take part in the UX/UI chapter to exchange knowledge with the online branch of the KVK. You organize interviews to keep personas up-to-date and organize workshops to support your designs and/or to design new services. You conduct user tests and/or participate in acceptance testing. You advise KVK online in the field of Service Design and Design Systems.

The candidate can work independently in multiple multidisciplinary teams and is able to both work out the details of these projects as well as maintain an overview of all projects regarding functionality and user interaction. The candidate is communicatively skilled and can organize workshops and interviews. The candidate can advise with a clear vision on the DWP, Service Design, and Design Systems. The candidate is an expert in the field of the tools Sketch, Invision, Invision DSM, and Axure RP.
