• 8+ years of experience in a similar role
• Up-to-date knowledge of the current JavaScript landscape
• Experience in optimizing the performance and technical quality of complex applications
• Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js
• A clear vision on component-based architecture
• Insight into and experience with server-side rendering (SSR) in Next.js
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• The skills to build efficient and reusable UI components
• Experience with Git & GitHub, version control, code reviews, and pull request workflows
• Experience with both unit tests and end-to-end (E2E) testing
  
  Additionally, you are:
• Experience working in a monorepository, for example with tools like Nx or Turborepo
• Experience managing shared components and modules within a large codebase
• Knowledge of and experience with maintaining GitHub Actions

Retail media is booming, and with us, you get the chance to help build an advanced platform that supports Ahold brands in Europe and the US with a complete retail media offering. In this role, you will work in a high-traffic environment on a scalable SaaS solution used by multiple brands, making a direct impact on a fast-growing domain. Within the Ad-Tech Cluster, we develop and implement a retail media SaaS solution for all Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe and the US. Retail media is about selling advertising space on our digital channels and in the physical store. For example:

• Promoting brands such as Tony's Chocolonely when a customer searches for "chocolate" in our app or webshop.
• Advertisements on large screens inside or outside the store.
• Banners with supplier branding on the homepage or category pages.
• Exploring new possibilities within this fast-growing domain.

Our cluster, part of the Customer Tech Platform, is responsible for a flexible, cost-efficient, and high-quality retail media suite with extensive functionalities and a growing number of user brands.
