  • A completed technical MBO education (level 3 or 4) in the direction of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, measurement and control technology, or similar;
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position; 
  • Knowledge of Priva; knowledge of Sauter is a plus; 
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues;
  • The ability to work independently and in a team within a dynamic environment;
  • Willingness to work on-call shifts.

The role

Within Veolia Building Management in Rotterdam, you will join an energetic and atmospheric team focused on service and maintenance of building-related installations (both E and W), projects arising from maintenance contracts, and energy monitoring. Think of contracts with hospitals, the Central Government Real Estate Agency, schools, and other utility buildings.

Within the Rotterdam branch, there is plenty of room for independence and craftsmanship. You will work for professional and rightly demanding clients on challenging installations, with ample opportunities alongside regular work to further develop yourself, including within the energy transition.

As a Service Technician Measurement & Control Technology, you are responsible for the optimal functioning of measurement and control technology installations at various clients. You play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) and other control technology installations. Your expertise contributes directly to more efficient and sustainable energy management within buildings. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that agreements with clients are met.

What you'll do

  • Installation and maintenance: programming, installing, and maintaining measurement and control technology installations, such as HVAC systems, climate control, and energy management systems;

  • Faults and repairs: locating and resolving faults and defects, both on-site and remotely via monitoring tools;

  • Revision management and quality control: carefully documenting changes and improvements to installations;

  • Energy optimization: advising on improvements to reduce energy costs and increase sustainability, in collaboration with our Hubgrade (energy monitoring department);

  • Standards and regulations: providing support with GACS standardization and other relevant regulations within measurement and control technology.
