At Veldhuis Installatietechniek, you ensure that our service and maintenance activities are well prepared. You liaise with customers and technicians, plan activities, assess requests, and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done.

In addition, you will get the space to take on more and more calculations and quotes. Experience with this is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. We are happy to help you further develop in this area.

As a Work Preparer / Service & Maintenance Coordinator, you will work in our Service & Maintenance department. You ensure that technicians can head out well-prepared and that activities at our customers run smoothly.

A customer has a service request, maintenance needs to be scheduled, or there is a small expansion to an installation. You map out what is needed, coordinate this with the customer and colleagues, and ensure good preparation and planning.

You are thus the connecting link between the customer, our service technicians, suppliers, and office colleagues.

No two days are the same. One moment you are busy with the scheduling of technicians, the next moment you are consulting with a customer about a technical solution or working out a quote.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Preparing and planning service and maintenance activities;

• Coordinating and supporting service technicians;

• Technically assessing requests and activities;

• Ensuring that materials, information, and planning are arranged on time;

• Preparing quotes and making or learning to make calculations;

• Monitoring planning, progress, and quality;

• Maintaining contact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues;

• Identifying additional activities and commercial opportunities;

• Thinking along about how we can further improve our service and work processes.

You have technical knowledge of installations and especially enjoy organizing, preparing, and coordinating things well. You maintain an overview, switch easily between different tasks, and enjoy having a lot of contact with customers and colleagues.

You do not need to be an experienced estimator or work preparer yet. For example, do you have experience as a service technician and would you like to make the step to the office? Even then, we would love to get in touch with you.

We are looking for someone with:

• Mbo level of work and thinking;

• Experience or technical knowledge within installation technology;

• Experience as, for example, a work preparer, service technician, service coordinator, or planner is a plus;

• Technical insight and a customer-oriented attitude;

• Good communication skills;

• Organizational talent and a proactive work attitude;

• Interest in further developing yourself in estimation and project preparation.
