The role

Are you an electrical service technician who loves solving faults and ensuring that installations continue to work safely and reliably? At Veldhuis Installatietechniek, you will work on the service and maintenance of electrical installations for various customers in the region.

You will receive a great deal of autonomy, work on diverse technical challenges, and enjoy plenty of variety in your work. With your electrical knowledge and solution-oriented approach, you will ensure that installations function optimally and customers are satisfied.

What you'll do

As an Electrical Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical installations. You will work independently at various customers in the utility, industrial, and agricultural sectors, as well as for private individuals.

No two days are the same. One day you are solving a complex electrical fault, while the next day you are performing preventive maintenance or advising a customer on improving an installation.

Your responsibilities include

Detecting, analyzing, and resolving faults in electrical installations
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations
Inspecting and checking installations for safety and operation
Identifying technical problems and potential improvements
Advising customers on the maintenance and optimization of installations
Independently performing service and maintenance activities
Collaborating with fellow technicians and other technical specialists
Ensuring safe, reliable, and well-functioning installations

As an electrical service technician, you are also the point of contact for the customer. You think along with them, clearly explain which activities you are performing, and ensure a professional handling of every service job.

What do you bring?

You are an independent and customer-oriented service technician who enjoys taking on technical challenges. You think in solutions, take responsibility, and know how to keep a cool head even during a fault.

In addition, you bring the following:

A completed technical education in the field of electrical engineering
Experience as an electrical service technician, electrical technician, or electrical installer
Knowledge of electrical installations, faults, and maintenance
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
An independent, accurate, and solution-oriented working style
Team spirit and the willingness to help colleagues where necessary
