At SMIT Elektrotechniek, you will work with approximately 135 colleagues on multidisciplinary projects in electrical engineering and security technology. We realize new construction projects in residential housing in the Randstad and work for housing corporations and healthcare institutions.

You will join an organization with extensive expertise, short lines of communication, and colleagues who help each other further. As a Service Technician at SMIT, you will enjoy a lot of independence. You will head out in your own service van, solve technical problems, and ensure that customers can rely on good workmanship.

In addition, we work with many apprentices and young professionals. Experienced colleagues pass on their knowledge, while new ideas and techniques keep us sharp. This way, we learn from each other every day and continue to develop our craft.

As an Electrical Service Technician, you ensure that electrotechnical installations continue to work properly. You will travel independently to customers and deal with various technical questions and malfunctions.

• Maintaining and repairing electrotechnical installations

• Solving malfunctions in high-voltage and low-voltage installations

• Working on intercom, fire alarm, and security systems

• Driving independently to customers and performing work on-site

• Performing small adjustments and technical tasks at the customer's request

• Thinking along about practical solutions when you notice something

• Recording work and details in clear service reports

• Being the visiting card of SMIT at customers as an Electrical Service Technician
