As a Mechanical Technician, you realize, install, and maintain mechanical installations. Depending on your experience and preference, you will work within Residential & Small-scale Construction, Utility, or Service & Maintenance.

Within Residential & Small-scale Construction, no two days are the same. You work on homes, small commercial buildings, and other small-scale projects. For example, you install central heating systems, heat pumps, and mechanical ventilation systems, or you modify existing installations. You have contact with the customer and think along regarding practical solutions and improvements.

Within Utility, you work on larger projects, such as apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and other utility buildings. Together with your colleagues, you realize mechanical installations in the fields of sewage, water, heating, cooling, and ventilation. You work according to a schedule and ensure that the work is executed technically well.

If you work within Service & Maintenance, you will primarily work on existing installations. You perform maintenance, solve technical problems, and ensure that installations continue to function well and reliably. You work independently, have contact with customers, and know how to switch quickly when the situation demands it.

During an introduction, we will discuss your experience, preferences, and ambitions and look together at the best place within HulstFlier. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you may also supervise second-line technicians, assistant technicians, or outsourced colleagues.
