Elevator Service Technician in Zwolle

Lots of freedom. Lots of technology. No two days the same. And the best part: you don't need to be an elevator expert yet, we will train you completely!

As an Elevator Service Technician at KONE, you ensure that elevators continue to work safely, smoothly, and reliably. You will drive independently through your region, resolve malfunctions, perform maintenance, and be the face of KONE to customers.

This is not a job where you stand in the same place all day. You work independently, visit various locations, and deal with technology that is becoming increasingly smart mechanically, electrically, and digitally.

At KONE, you receive a recognized MBO 3 diploma, training via the KONE Academy, and guidance from experienced colleagues. You bring the technical foundation and the motivation to learn. We take care of the rest.

You will be responsible for elevators in your region.

Concretely, this means:

• You maintain and repair elevators
• You resolve malfunctions
• You support inspections
• You advise customers on maintenance and safety
• You work with modern tools, systems, and techniques
• You participate in 24/7 breakdown services

You work much independently, but never alone. Behind you stands a team of colleagues, planners, specialists, and trainers.

This is a match for you if you...

• Like being on the road
• Find technology interesting
• Want to work independently
• Help customers politely and clearly
• Solve problems calmly and safely
• Are curious about new technologies
• Want to keep learning and grow

Experience with elevators is a plus, but not a must. A background in, for example, electrical engineering, automotive technology, mechatronics, installation technology, or another technical field is a good fit.

Furthermore, you have:

• Driver's license B
• No fear of heights
• Location in or around Zwolle - Meppel

• Salary between €3,100 and €4,400
• Bonus scheme and expense reimbursements
• 41 days off
• Annual contract with a view to permanent employment
• Annual salary increase upon good performance
• Company car, also for private use
• Phone, tablet, and PPE
• Full training to become an Elevator Service Technician
• Recognized MBO 3 diploma via Yonder and the KONE Academy
• Training such as VCA, NEN3140, and Basic Electrical Engineering
• Growth opportunities up to MBO 4/HBO level
• Good pension scheme
• Lease a Bike
• Team outings and staff association
• Discounts on, among other things, fitness, travel, insurance, and electronics

Sounds good? Great! Then we would love to meet you.
