Are you an experienced E/M Technician and do you enjoy working on both electrotechnical and mechanical installations? At Hoekstra Installatietechniek, you will get the freedom to carry out projects independently within offices and production environments. You combine electrotechnics and mechanical engineering, think along regarding technical solutions, and together with your colleagues, ensure installations function perfectly.

As an E/M Technician, you are responsible for installing and realizing complete electrotechnical and mechanical installations. You work primarily on projects in office buildings and production environments. These projects vary from a few weeks to several months, providing you with plenty of variety and responsibility.

You take on tasks independently, analyze technical issues, and devise practical solutions. Together with the work preparation and project management, you determine the right approach. On-site, you are an important technical point of contact and ensure that the work is carried out according to schedule and quality requirements.

You work within a team of 14 to 20 technicians, two project leaders, and four work preparers. In addition, you are given the space to work independently, but you can always rely on the knowledge of your colleagues.

Your duties include

• Independent installation of electrotechnical and mechanical installations.

• Executing and coordinating work on-site.

• Reading and applying technical drawings and installation diagrams.

• Guiding and supporting apprentice technicians.

• Coordinating with work preparers and project leaders.

• Identifying technical bottlenecks and proposing practical solutions.

• Monitoring the quality and progress of your work.

• Thinking along about improvements within projects and installations.
