Security Technology Engineer

At SMIT Elektrotechniek, you will work with approximately 135 colleagues on multidisciplinary projects in electrical engineering and security technology. We realize new construction projects in residential housing in the Randstad and work for housing corporations and healthcare institutions.

As a Security Technology Engineer, you translate the customer's wishes and the technical situation on-site into a sound security design. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues and technicians and remain involved during the execution phase.

• Taking on projects at client sites and translating them into a technical design

• Designing camera, fire alarm, intrusion, and access control systems

• Making preliminary calculations and determining which materials are required

• Coordinating technical solutions with customers, colleagues, and technicians

• Providing technical support to technicians during execution

• Thinking along about technical improvements and practical solutions

• Working on projects for, among others, housing associations and healthcare institutions

• Taking responsibility for your technical contribution as a Security Technology Engineer
